Fwaz Abdulah was well known as the supporter of the aggrieved people for his tearful eye and his contributing to justice. From the look of his face, it’s easy to know that this face doesn’t belong to a Persian invider or even a Magian but to a young son of Al-Halima , no more than 38 years of age. Only one day before his death, Fwaz called his family saying ” I’m still stationed here preventing the mercenaries from stealing and killing innocent people, just pray to Allah for me, I have lost two friends altogether ” His family begged him to return and leave everything behind him but in a tone of refusing, he said no “I’m not the kind of guy who gives up”. Alone he faced a militant group, named Al-Hasim battalion, hundreds of them. 24 hours had passed but he, our hero, was still standing on his feet as everything around him was falling down except for his head, that head which used to keep its dignity and highness , the head of man from whom Taiz used to get help. When the mercenaries had gotten despaired of making a difference with their gun they lighted up some hot peppers to asphyxiate him. Unfortunately, he run out of ammo after 24 of resisting. In the end he died to become a martyr, it’s worth mentioning that forty persons of the mercenaries feaced their death because of the smoke. After they had made sure of his death, they bursted into the place looking for the secret behind his fortitude and resistance. To their surprise, he was on his own, that showed them how few they are !!!. In revenge, they tied him to a motorcycle pulling him across Al-Halima streets among the laughters of those who thought they are celebrating their victory by doing this. On the next day ,Sun rose to embrace and greet those who were tired from the marcenaries’ practices on them. Abandoning the humanitarian identity, they crucified him. Fwaz deserves nothing but highness and honour, they really did honoured him and rose him in that they all fell down on the dirty ground while Fwaz was ascending to his true place in the sky. From Taiz, this hero has shown up, his sacrifice is not less important than the sacrifice of that one from Al-Basreh “Halaj Al-Basreh”
